We are looking for support for our international transports at the Mannheim location (68535 Edingen-Neckarhausen) for the processing of our transports to third countries as well as the optimal positioning with regard to the upcoming Brexit from 01.01.2021:

Your tasks include

• Processing of customs and tax matters
• Monitoring and processing of complaints and discrepancies relating to import, export and transit goods traffic
• Preparation and monitoring of export declarations
• Correspondence with authorities and customers - Advice on all customs-related matters
• Disposition of transports within the EU, third countries
• Maintenance/administration of customs authorisations/permits under the supervision of the specialist managers
• Contact with customers to obtain clearance authorisations for customs clearance
• Compliance with all relevant customs and foreign trade regulations and laws when processing orders
• Clarification and timely processing of handling discrepancies
• Taking on special tasks as required
• Monitoring of incoming and optimisation of outgoing capacities
• Creation of reports and statistics using internal IT systems
• Declaration of customs procedures (export, dispatch, import) via ATLAS

Your profile:

• Completed training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk or similar training is an advantage
• Working with MS Office applications and ATLAS
• High customer and service orientation
• Careful and precise way of working
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a team, commitment and flexibility
